Another Maria is a piece about life cycles, about birth and destruction. We are visitors here, loaded with memories and uncertain future view. What seems to have value is fragmented, present moment. We can go, greed the sea and return.
In the shore sediments lies a sculpture, fragments of marble. This love is mutual; this is a dialogue with matter and time.
Here I was about to write art, but instead I write earth: Earth protects expectation, silence and depth. Wind-sharpened knives slice joyful cuts. Wounds heal as they are submerged into a cool brightness, which has a lover’s touch on those open for conversation. Its touch is curious, ready to give up and full of an incomprehensible, burning desire to come into existence.
You’ll carry on from this point. I’ll leave you alone with wonderful darkness and sand.
